Tarifa alone
So Jamie left on the Thursday after my birthday. I found a cheap Airbnb nearer to the centre where this really cool Russian guy Andreu lived. I was hoping he would give me kite surfing lessons as he was an instructor. But unfortunately he didn’t want to kite surf anymore as he had done it enough. He was trying to get a job as a data scientist in AI. He was previously a physicist looking at shapes...
I spent the next few days trying to focus on my app. Failing and so went for a 40km run one day. Was knackering! I also met a cool guy called Alessandro who was an illustrator for GIG games in Malaga his work was amazing. I’d love to do soemthing with him.
I find it amazing when you travel on ur own how much more open you are to meeting new people and having experiences you wouldn’t have with a friend.
After a few days I was starting to get cabin fever of Tarifa. It’s the kind of place that can rot your mind if you stay too long. For a weekend or a short holidya with friends it’s ok but not forever. One week was enough. Bit like corn island. I had to get back to civilización, work in my app find a job. So off to Malaga I went in a bla bla car
